Sized Right for Small & Medium Dogs
Optimized for breeds like Corgis, Border Collies, and Shiba Inus, the leash supports better manners on-lead without bulk. Pair with a well-fitted collar or harness for a secure, low-stress setup.
For our 16 lb mixed breed this leash hits all the marks: comfortable handle, easy clip-on neck loop, and enough control to stop those random squirrel dashes. I still check the stitching regularly, but so far it’s holding up really well.
We’re so glad it’s working well for your mixed breed’s squirrel alerts, Victoria—thank you!

Good quality but a bit short for sniffy walks
On the plus side, the leash feels sturdy and the handle is comfy. For my Beagle who loves to sniff every blade of grass, I do wish it were a bit longer so he could roam just a little farther while still under control.
Thank you for the detailed note on length, Thomas—that’s great feedback for us and other Beagle parents.

Works, but my dog still pulls when excited
The leash gives me better grip and control, but my 28 lb herding mix still pulls when she gets overly excited. It’s a good tool, just not a magic fix. We’re pairing it with more training and she’s slowly improving.
We really appreciate the honest, balanced feedback, Rachel—tools + training together are definitely the long-term solution.

Wish it had a traffic handle, otherwise great
The leash itself is sturdy and comfortable and works well to manage quick lunges. The only thing I’d add is a lower traffic handle for crowded sidewalks. I still use it every day, just wrap the leash around my hand when we’re in busy spots.

Good leash, learning curve with neck loop
Once you get used to how the neck loop sits, it makes clipping in fast, but the first few times I had to fiddle a bit. Now that I’ve got the hang of it, walks are smoother and my dog pulls less at the start.
Thank you for calling out the quick learning curve on the loop, Nicole—that’s really helpful context.
