The roller works as described on dry fabric. I absentmindedly tried it on a slightly damp spot on our couch and it didn’t grab much. Once the fabric dried, it went back to working fine. Definitely follow the ‘no wet surfaces’ note.

Good for furniture, so-so on clothing

I bought this mainly for the couch and it does great there. On my black leggings it picks up some fur but not quite as clean as a sticky roller. I still use both—this for furniture and a tape roller for outfits.

A little noisy for my skittish cat
