PVC coating with a rubberized finish resists water, abrasion, and odors, so the line stays light in rain, mud, or surf. A smooth glide lets you manage distance and timing without snagging or drag.
Choose Your Working Radius
Pick 10 ft for close guidance, 20 ft for standard recall work, or 30 ft for distance tasks and tracking. The high-tensile line keeps control over sudden sprints without adding bulk or weight.
Clean in Seconds, Train for Years
Rinse off sand, mud, and salt—no soaking required. The wipe-clean surface and corrosion-resistant swivel clasp reduce maintenance, helping your gear last through daily drills and weekend adventures.
We’ve used this in rain, snow, and at the lake, and it’s become our go-to long line. It doesn’t hold water, doesn’t smell, and wipes clean in seconds. For recall, tracking, and just giving our dog a safe radius to roam, it’s been worth every penny.
All-weather approval is exactly what we hope for—thank you, Victoria!

Nice line but can burn hands if grabbed fast
The coating is great for waterproofing, but if your dog takes off and you instinctively grab the line, it can sting your hands a bit. That’s honestly true of most long lines, though. I just learned to step on it with my foot instead of grabbing mid-sprint.
Thank you for the safety tip, Thomas—stepping on the line instead of grabbing is smart advice for any long line.

Good training tool but not a magic fix
We bought the 20 ft so our dog could have more freedom while we work on recall. The line itself is great—strong, easy to clean, and doesn’t drag heavy in the grass. Just know you still have to put in the training time; the leash doesn’t train the dog for you.
We really appreciate the realistic perspective, Rachel—tools + training always go hand in hand.

Great performance, can get a bit slick when wet
Overall I really like this line for recall and hiking, but when it’s soaking wet it can feel a little slick in bare hands if the dog suddenly pulls. I started wearing light gloves on big training days and that solved it.

Good line, a bit heavier than nylon
The durability and waterproof coating are great, but the PVC does feel a little heavier than our old flat nylon line. Not a dealbreaker at all—just something to note if you’re used to very lightweight gear.
Thank you for the honest note on weight compared to nylon, Nicole—super helpful context for others.
