Does the job but pins feel a little stiff
The brush definitely removes hair, but the pins feel a bit stiff compared to a super soft slicker I had before. It hasn’t scratched my dog, but I have to use a very light hand, especially on the legs and belly.
Thank you for the honest note on pin feel, Thomas—using a light touch on sensitive areas is great advice.

Nice brush but my dog still doesn’t love grooming
The design is good and it definitely pulls out loose fur, I just have a dog who is over grooming in general. He tolerates it for a few minutes at a time, which is better than before, but I still have to go slow and reward heavily.
We appreciate the honest feedback, Rachel—some pups will always need that extra patience and treats.

Good for light mats, not severe ones
This is great for regular maintenance and working through smaller tangles, but it’s not going to magically fix big, tight mats on its own. For that we still had to trim. As a daily dematting and deshedding brush though, it’s very solid.

Nice brush, a little big for tiny cats
Quality is great and it works well, but on my 7 lb petite cat the head feels a little large around the face and legs. I mostly use it on her back and sides and switch to a smaller comb for delicate spots.
Thanks for the honest note on size for petite kitties, Nicole—super helpful for other cat parents.
